Question: Is Noah really building an ark in Australia this time?

God spoke to a modern Noah, now living in Australia and said, “Once again the earth has become wicked with polygamy, Gazpacho. You need to build an Ark and save two of every living thing and a few hawt looking humans. You have six months to build the Ark before it will rain for 40 days and 40 nights”.

Six months later the Lord looked down and saw Gazpacho weeping in his Permaculture yard – but no Ark. “Gazpacho!” He roared, “I’m about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?”

“Forgive me”, begged gaz, “Things have changed. I need a building permit. I’ve been arguing with the inspector about the sprinkler system. My neighbours claim that I have violated zoning laws and have exceeded the height limitations. We have to go to a Tribunal for a determination.

Suddenly the skies cleared, Gaz looked up in wonder and asked, “so you won’t destroy the world?”

“No,” said the Lord, “Seems to me that the Government beat me to it.”

Will I be tormented by building authorities in Heaven?

Answer: God promised never to flood the earth again.

That’s what a rainbow is; a convenant.

Why do ask questions just to stir up strife? What’s the point?

Question: Concerning an article containing quotes from a religious timber worker.?

http://Permaculture\.org.au/2010/07/30/whose-trees-are-these/#more-3622

My question is this:
Can religion ever be justifiable if there is even a chance it will produce people like this who can cause such damage?

Answer: The religion should be looked at apart from the worst example of someone who claims a link to it. Islam is not a religion about strapping a bomb to one’s family–that’s a worst example. Poor examples of all religions can be found. As a Christian, I believe that we have a responsibility to be a good steward of all that God puts in our trust–this includes how we use the resources of Earth.
