What Is Permaculture

Before we discuss any aspect of Permaculture such as Permaculture Farming, we need to define what exactly Permaculture is. Bear in mind that the concept of Permaculture is still somewhat unfamiliar to most people. However, if you understand the concept of Permaculture, you can build wealth, live a happy life without damaging the environment or wasting natural resources. The idea of Permaculture is pioneering and is much needed in the world.

What is Permaculture?

Permaculture is a way of life, a process, a way of thinking, not a tangible object. Permaculture is the principles that you live by so that you are not harming anyone or anything as you live your life.

What is permaculture The word Permaculture was invented by an Australian called Bill Mollison whom later wrote a book in 1978 with David Holmgren on Permaculture which pioneered the concept of what permaculture is supposed to be.

A series of documents and books were subsequently written by Bill Mollison, David Holmgren and their colleagues on the subject of permaculture. There are many books you can read on permaculture.

Simply speaking, permaculture is a way of living your life so that you can do what you want, you can create wealth, have what you need without negatively affect other people’s lives or the environment. The permaculture way will allow you to live your life and prosper without wasting the earth’s natural resources.

Father of Permaculture

Bill Mollison has been named the Father of Permaculture. Bill Mollison and David Holmgren worked together to introduce the concept of permaculture.
